A PRACTICAL START

Get ready for your first day.

Prepare the roster, agree your service and help your staff get comfortable with the workflow.

  1. 01

    Prepare your institution

Create an owner account, set your operating calendar and add or import your roster.

  2. 02

    Arrange cards and activation

Confirm your software capacity and card requirements. Paid service or an approved trial enables gate operations.

  3. 03

    Prepare staff and phones

Assign staff roles, register phones and test scanning on the devices you will use.

  4. 04

    Start, then review

Staff confirm entry and exit at the gate. Your office reviews missing scans, leave and exceptions.

Use the phone already at your gate.

A prepared staff phone reads the person’s QR ID card. Start by selecting Entry or Exit.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Ask us about your setup
Who is CampusPass for?

Schools, colleges, academies, training centres and membership organisations that need ID cards, supervised entry or exit checks and attendance review for students, trainees or members. We’ll discuss your roster, schedule and verification needs to confirm the fit.

What does the annual software package include?

The published software offer provides annual service for one institution and the stated number of active students or members per capacity block. Staff accounts and archived records do not consume that capacity.

Are ID cards included in the annual fee?

Cards are charged separately. Every published card package includes a plastic pouch and ribbon. Delivery and any applicable taxes are confirmed in your written quote.

Do we need a dedicated scanner?

The current gate workflow uses a staff phone camera to read QR cards. Test camera and browser suitability on the actual phones your team will use.

Can gate staff work without internet?

When the owner enables offline use, prepared phones can use an encrypted roster for a limited period. Pending attendance must be uploaded after reconnecting. Browser storage can be lost; disconnected copies cannot be erased immediately.

Does a missing entry scan mean someone is absent?

No. A scan records an entry or exit event. Staff compare the card holder with the permitted details, and the office reviews missing scans, leave and attendance exceptions.

Does signing up start a free trial or a paid subscription?

No. Signup lets you prepare your institution account. Operational gate use requires paid activation or an explicitly approved, dated trial.

Does the NFC card package include NFC phone scanning?

The NFC package is card supply. The working app uses QR verification. NFC phone scanning or external-reader integration requires a separately agreed implementation and device compatibility checks.
